For those of you with Gotz Little Sister dolls...

The Little Sisters line (3 hair colors on one facial sculpt) was created by Gotz exclusively for iDolls, the now defunct online doll store. When iDolls tanked, they sold their entire remaining inventory, which iDolls had been selling for upwards of $50 each, to T.J. Maxx. Maxx then sold them at $19.99 each in their stores. That is where many of us got our dolls.

The Stolle line of dolls, also made by Gotz for CostCo, were sold several Christmases ago for $19.99. The Stolle dolls had cheaper hair and nowhere near as cute a face.

Precious Day dolls, also made by Gotz as one of the primary lines, was dumped onto Tuesday Morning and, I believe, Ross where they were sold for $20-25 each. In short, Gotz has been getting hammered in the 18" softbody standing articulated vinyl playdoll market and, last year, said they were scaling back their operations and thinking carefully about whether they should be introducing new dolls.

BTW, there are different facial sculpts for the Precious Day line as they had at least two distinct year's lines, each with a different sculpt.
